Certified Welding Inspector - AWS/CWI (Phoenix, AZ) [CWI-PHX]


Job Description: Ninyo & Moore, a SOCOTEC Company has an immediate opening for an AWS/CWI-Certified Welding Inspector in the Phoenix, Arizona. The successful candidate will be thoroughly knowledgeable regarding the standards related to the construction and inspection of structural steel welding and bolting. The candidate must be able to read and understand structural blue prints and current code requirements. Field duties will include shop and field inspection of structural steel welds, bolting, and testing. Maintenance of proper and complete files of field and laboratory data, reports, letters, RFI's, and other pertinent field data as well as clear communications with the Project Manager and the client's representatives are required.

Education: Associates or Bachelors degree preferred. Current AWS/CWI certification required. NDT Certification preferred.

Required Skills: The successful candidate should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, 3+ years of experience working in the construction quality industry, positive attitude, good organizational skills and a strong work ethic. Candidate may be subject to a background check and drug screening test. Must have current valid driver's license and a good driving record.
