Field Technician - ACI (San Jose, CA) [FT-SJ]
Job Description: Ninyo & Moore has an immediate opening for an ACI-certified Field Technician in San Jose, CA. The successful candidate will perform standard test methods for field density testing of soil utility backfill, mass grading, paving subgrade, proof-rolling observation experience, as well as sample and test field concrete.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Required Skills: ACI Field Technician Grade 1 certification required (Caltrans a plus). The successful candidate should have a minimum of 2 years' experience providing construction materials testing services. Candidate should have the ability to work well as both a team player and individual self-starter. Basic computer skills, specifically experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel. Exceptional organizational and follow-up skills. Solid communication skills. The ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Must have a current valid driver's license and a good driving record.
