Technical/Administrative Assistant ( San Diego, CA) [TA-SD]
Job Description: The successful candidate will be required to support staff, senior staff, project managers, and division managers by performing the following activities: Assist project managers with QA/QC processes for geotechnical site assessments; validation of materials testing; compile and organize documents and data. Works closely with project managers to track, record, and monitor schedule deadlines and provide assistance editing and providing quality control of technical reports. Other duties may be assigned as needed such as routine recordkeeping, report preparation, file management, agency research, etc..
Education:Associate Degree or equivalent undergraduate coursework.
Required Skills:Candidate should be proficient in MS Word and Excel. MS Access, Adobe and Bluebeam experience is a plus. Candidate should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, a positive attitude, good organizational skills, and a strong work ethic. Must be able to work both independently and as a team member. Must have a current valid driver’s license.
Desired Skills:Experience with geotechnical consulting firm performing duties similar to those described above.
