Construction Services Project Manager (Houston, TX) [CSPM-HOU]
Job Description: Ninyo & Moore Geotechnical & Environmental Sciences Consultants has an immediate opening for a Construction Services Project Manager in Houston, TX. The successful candidate will manage construction projects involving geotechnical observation, construction materials testing, and special inspection services. The candidate will be expected to coordinate with clients and design professionals, manage project budgets, and prepare cost estimates for our services. The Project Manager will also coordinate and oversee all field technician and inspector activities to evaluate the work being performed, review all project related paperwork, and assist in troubleshooting problems on projects.
Education: Experience working for an organization providing special inspection and/or materials testing services showing increasing levels of responsibility and interaction with clients. A B.S. /B.A. /M.S. in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Materials Engineering is a plus but not required.
Required Skills: The successful candidate will have 5+ years of experience in the construction industry, with 2+ years of project management experience desired. Candidate should be detail oriented and have excellent verbal and written communication skills and experience in proposal preparation including materials quantity take-offs.
