Ninyo & Moore conducts periodic assessments of existing industrial hygiene or safety programs, procedures, and practices for compliance with OSHA standards. HAZWOPER and Specialty Training

29 Code of Federal Regulations 1910.120 requires specific initial and refresher training for work on specific sites which are regarded as associated with hazardous waste or conditions. Additionally, federal and state regulations require a host of other training specific to employee work hazards such as confined space entry, Excavation Competent Person, respiratory protection, etc. Much of this training can be provided by Ninyo & Moore personnel.

Health and Safety Plan Preparation

Detailed Health and Safety Plans are required by a host of entities seeking work from contractors. These plans are written in accordance with direction from Cal/OSHA Title 8, Section 5192 and the Occupational Safety and Health Guidance Manual for Hazardous Waste Site Activities (NIOSH) as well as a number of different regulatory and guidance documents. These plans can be prepared by Ninyo & Moore safety professionals with usually one site visit and appropriate interviews.

Injury & Illness Prevention Program Plans

Title 8, California Code of Regulations, Section 3203 requires an Injury and Illness Prevention Program or IIPP for many California employers. The document describes employee training programs, safety committees, procedures for the identification of workplace hazards, accident investigation, procedures for correcting unsafe conditions, and a host of other items. Ninyo & Moore safety professionals develop compliant programs and documents for employers that will help to reduce risk of injury to employees.
