2024 ACEC-CA Annual Conference & Engineering Excellence Awards

Ninyo & Moore Highlights Industry Leaders at the 24th ACEC-CA Annual Conference   

Ninyo & Moore attended the 24th Annual ACEC-CA Conference, a gathering of distinguished professionals in the AEC industry. This event provided a valuable platform for knowledge exchange, strategic discussions, and networking opportunities.

Our very own Kurt Yoshii, PE, GE, the ACEC-CA National Director, and Ronald Halbert, PE, the ACEC-CA San Diego State Director, both attended the conference and contributed their insights to innovative solutions to emerging trends that will shape the future of our industry. Kurt Yoshii introduced one of the speakers, Matt Reiffer, Vice-President of Infrastructure Programs at ACEC National (Washington, DC). Kurt networked with numerous attendees, including one of the sponsors, Kelly Potter of Cavignac & Associates (4th photo.)

Our participation in the conference, Federal PAC Fundraiser, and the Engineering Excellence Awards (EEA) Banquet allowed us to engage with industry leaders and assist in our commitment to staying at the forefront of industry advancements. The Executive Committee (ExCom) was challenged by the Foundation Trustees (Trustees) to see who could raise more money for the scholarship fund during the silent auction at the EEA. Our Kurt Yoshii curated the ExCom Whisky basket filled with bottles ranked in the top 5 of “Whisky Advocate Magazine’s Top 20 Whiskies of the Year!”  The Trustees opted for a wine and champagne basket.  The winner…the students of course! 

We extend our appreciation to ACEC-CA for orchestrating a successful event and facilitating an environment that encouraged collaboration and growth.
