Davis Aqueduct Parallel Pipelines
The project consisted of the installation of approximately 2.5 miles of
72-inch steel pipe, including associated vaults and structures, site improvements and yard piping, tie-ins to existing facilities crossing US-89 and the Davis and Weber Counties Canal, and a 60 MGD pump station.

Ninyo & Moore performed construction materials testing and inspection services for the Davis Aqueduct Reach 1 Parallel Pipeline Project in Layton and South Weber City, Utah. The project involved extensive grading, backfill, and restoration, appurtenant structures for the pipeline including bifurcation valve vault and existing structure modifications, retaining walls, soil nail walls, military springs collection box, air release vaults, drains, stormwater diversions, two new pumping stations and associated HVAC, instrumentation and controls, yard piping, utility connections, power supply, electrical and controls, mass grading, excavation and controlled fill, trench and structural backfill, and placement of flow fill. New concrete sidewalk, curb and gutter, Portland Cement Concrete Paving (PCCP), and asphalt paving was also a part of the project.
