Field Technician (Tucson, AZ) [FT-TUC]
Description: Ninyo & Moore Geotechnical & Environmental Sciences Consultants has an urgent need for Field Technicians in Tucson, AZ. Duties will include the testing of soil, concrete, and asphalt, maintain test reports, letters, and other pertinent field data, as well as completing field reports, and communicating with Project Management and Field Manager to successfully complete tasks. For the right candidate this position has future opportunities for advancement.
Education: The successful candidate should have 1-5 years of previous soil and concrete testing experience or a recent graduate in Geology or Engineering. ACI, ATTI Field & nuclear gauge certifications preferred. ICC certifications also a plus.
Required Skills: The successful candidate should have a thorough understanding of standard test methods for all tests performed by a field technician, and be able to perform these tests in the field. Candidate should also have excellent verbal and written communication skills, positive attitude, good organizational skills, and a strong work ethic, and must be a team player with the ability to work alone at times or on remote jobsites. Must have a current valid driver's license and a good driving record.
