ICC-Certified Special Inspector (Tucson, AZ) [SI-TUC]
Job Description: Ninyo & Moore Geotechnical & Environmental Sciences Consultants has an immediate opening for an ICC-Certified Reinforced Concrete and Masonry Special Inspector in Tucson, AZ. The successful candidate will be thoroughly knowledgeable regarding the standards related to the construction and inspection of structural steel welding and bolting. The successful candidate should be thoroughly knowledgeable regarding the standards related to the construction and inspection of reinforced concrete and/or masonry. The candidate must be able to read and understand structural plans and current code requirements. Duties include daily completion of field reports, as well as clear communications with the client's representatives, general and subcontractors, and Ninyo & Moore's Project Manager are required.
Education: Current ICC certifications required.
Required Skills: The successful candidate should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, 3+ years of experience working in the construction quality industry, positive attitude, good organizational skills and a strong work ethic. Must have current valid driver's license and a good driving record.
