Entry-Level Staff Environmental Professional (Phoenix, AZ) [SEP-PHX]
Job Description: Ninyo & Moore Geotechnical & Environmental Sciences Consultants has an immediate opening in our Phoenix, Arizona office for an Entry-Level Staff Environmental Professional. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting environmental site assessments (Phase I and II ESAs) and other hazardous waste site investigations, depending on experience. Other job duties may include: site reconnaissance, soil and groundwater sampling, well installation, air monitoring, coordination and oversight of subcontractors, and preparation of daily field reports; and various office tasks comprised of data compilation, review and assimilation of historic information and environmental databases, preparation of reports and other project documents, phone/email contact/coordination with subcontractors/vendors, phone/email contact related to interviews and discussions with site owners/users, and management of tasks and task budgets.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.
Certification: Current 40-Hour HAZWOPER training preferred. Other certifications and registrations a plus.
Required skills: 0-2 years of experience performing most or all of the tasks listed above. Willing to train the right candidate.
