Technical Assistant (Phoenix, AZ) [TA]


Job Description: Ninyo & Moore Geotechnical & Environmental Sciences Consultants has an immediate opening for an Technical Assistant in our Phoenix, Arizona office. The successful candidate will handle receptionist duties, incoming and outgoing mail, shipping responsibilities, and stocking and ordering office supplies. Other duties include typing and formatting technical reports, proposals, letters and other correspondence; compiling data in spreadsheets; filing, copying and binding and performing special projects as requested. The ideal candidate should be highly detailed-oriented, well organized, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment working closely with technical staff to provide assistance editing and quality control of technical reports, and other special projects.
 
Required Skills: Must be proficient in the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel Power Point and Outlook) with experience typing and formatting documents, proposals, etc.. Experience answering phones and performing general office duties. Candidate should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, a positive attitude, good computer and organizational skills, and a strong work ethic. Must be able to work both independently and as a team member.
 
Desired Skills: Experience with geotechnical and environmental consulting firm performing duties similar to those described above preferred.

Status: Full-time, in-office.
