Engineering Geology: Hydrogeologic Studies

Evaluation of the groundwater regime in the subsurface geologic environment can be a significant aspect of the planning, design, development, or construction of a project. Ninyo & Moore provides hydrogeologic studies to assist private developers, public agencies, contractors, and engineering firms.

Our hydrogeologic studies include:

  • Evaluation of depths to groundwater, groundwater transport, and flow rates
  • Installation of monitoring wells and piezometers, and pore pressure measurements
  • Aquifer drawdown pump testing and evaluation of hydraulic conductivity, storage capacity, and transmissivity
