Wildfire Assessments 

In addition to our other services, Ninyo & Moore provides forensic services relative to the adverse effects caused by wildfires.

Wildfires can cause devastation beyond the initial structure damage. Wildfires can also cause:

  • Interior smoke damage of standing structures, homes and schools
  • Loss of air quality in surrounding areas and building interiors
  • Soil erosion leading to slope instability and landslides
  • Mudslides and debris flows once rain falls in burned areas

Ninyo & Moore’s team of professionals have provided environmental and geotechnical evaluations of more than 1,000 projects affected by wildfires. Our professionals are experienced in evaluating fire and smoke-related damage, debris handling/removal procedures, and aspects related to restoration and rebuilding.
